Design direction
A compact U-shaped kitchen that leans into classic detailing rather than fighting its footprint. White shaker cabinetry runs the full height of both walls, and the vaulted ceiling overhead keeps the room feeling generous despite a tight plan.
Materials and finishes
White shaker doors with brushed-nickel cup pulls and knobs. Charcoal countertops give the pale cabinetry something to push against. The backsplash is a greige subway tile in a running bond, with a pressed-tin-pattern accent panel behind the range. Underfoot, hexagon floor tile in a soft warm grey.
Layout and function
A fireclay apron-front sink sits under the window with the dishwasher to one side and prep space to the other. A full-height stainless chimney hood anchors the range wall, and under-cabinet lighting runs the length of both counters so no work surface sits in shadow.
